Our client "Macro Kiosk Berhad" is seeking a Software Tester, Quality Control to join their team

What you'll be doing?
  • Quality Assurance Testing: Conduct comprehensive quality-control tests and analysis to ensure software exceeds specified standards and meets end-user requirements, contributing to exceptional product delivery.
  • Project Planning: Perform estimation efforts on various projects and track progress to ensure timely delivery and successful project outcomes.
  • Test Development: Draft and revise detailed test plans and scripts, carefully considering end-to-end system flows to ensure comprehensive coverage of all functionalities.
  • Test Execution: Systematically execute test scripts according to application requirements documentation, maintaining accuracy and thoroughness in all testing activities.
  • Requirements Analysis: Analyze project requirements and design aspects to ensure testing strategies align with business objectives and technical specifications.
  • Defect Management: Systematically log defects, identify appropriate courses of action, and perform preliminary root cause analysis to support continuous improvement.
  • Results Communication: Effectively analyze and communicate test results to project teams, providing clear insights that drive decision-making and quality improvements.
Who are they looking for?
  • Professional Experience: At least 2 years of working experience in application or software tester roles. Candidates with no prior experience are welcomed to apply if they demonstrate strong technical aptitude and learning ability.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. These language skills are essential for clear communication in a multicultural work environment.
  • Personal Qualities: A pleasant, self-motivated, enthusiastic, meticulous, result-oriented, responsible, independent, trustworthy, and ethical individual who thrives as a team player in collaborative environments.
  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge of automation scripting with Java or C#, as well as Performance and Load testing execution, software testing and quality principles, and SQL Server 2000/2005 to support comprehensive testing activities.
  • Additional Languages: Knowledge of other programming languages would be an advantage, enhancing your versatility in various testing scenarios.
  • Multi-tasking Ability: Capability to prepare test scripts and conduct testing for multiple applications simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Educational Background: Degree in Engineering (Computer), Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent qualification to provide the necessary technical foundation.
