We are seeking a technically proficient HVAC Project / Site Engineer to lead the execution, supervision, and commissioning of HVAC systems at industrial and hospital project sites.

The ideal candidate should have strong engineering fundamentals, hands-on site experience, and a solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles.

Job Location : SARAWAK

JOB REQUIREMENTS :-

  • Diploma or higher qualification in HVAC / Mechanical / Electromechanical Engineering
  • Holder of a nationally recognised engineering license
  • Fluent in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Mandarin (able to work with multilingual documentation)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal communication and coordination skills
  • Skilled in related design/office software (AutoCAD, MS Office, etc.)
  • Familiar with Malaysian HVAC & M&E design standards and construction requirements
  • Responsible, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality engineering solutions
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Project Execution & Supervision :

  • Execute HVAC installations as per approved drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with civil , electrical , plumbing and BMS teams for seamless integration.
  • Ensure daily site progress in line with the project schedule.

2. Technical Expertise :

  • Prepare technical drawings , schematic diagrams , technical submittals and cost estimates.
  • Supervise in ducting , piping , insulation , AHU/FCU installation , and controls.
  • Ensure compliance with safety , environmental , quality and standards .
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for operational systems.

3. Quality & safety :

  • Conduct quality checks and ensure installation as per design and quality standard.
  • Implement safety measures and ensure site complies with EHS norms.

4. Commissioning & Testing :

  • Lead testing , commissioning , and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
  • Coordinate with OEMs and Vendors for equipment commissioning.
  • Prepare commissioning protocols and test reports.

5. Client, Stakeholder & Consultant Coordination :

  • Interact with client engineers , stakeholder ,consultants , and PMC for site updates and approvals.
  • Attend review meetings and ensure closure of inspection points

6. Documentation & Reporting :

  • Maintain daily progress reports , site materials tracking , and manpower logs.
  • Submit work inspection requests , checklists ,and as-built drawings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM6,000.00 per month

Education:

  • Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Mechanical engineering: 2 years (Preferred)
