Job Summary

Ensuring KFC suppliers comply with Yum programs (e.g. Yum audit program, Yum animal welfare, product cutting) as well as monitoring the food safety and quality of products supplied through internal monitoring program (e.g. QA checks/visits).

Job Scope

  • Conduct plants QA checks for internal suppliers, external poultry suppliers, and distribution centers.
  • Coaching and monitor suppliers to comply with Yum audit requirement – Food Safety Audit, Quality Systems Audit, Distribution Quality Audit, Transportation Quality Audit, Packaging Facility Audit and GFSI certification (Global Food Safety Initiative).
  • Monitoring product quality through Yum product cuttings for core items.
  • Provide guidelines and coach new potential suppliers for plant approval.
  • Conduct pre-audit for actual Yum audit preparation for potential new suppliers.
  • Review suppliers' documentation for food safety and quality monitoring.
  • Conduct experiments / tests whenever required.
  • Review Shelf-Life Matrix exception form from DC/SCM for approval.
  • Support in handling complaints related to suppliers.
  • Support lab sampling and test result monitoring.

Qualification and Job Requirement

  • Degree in Food Science / Food Technology or equivalent.
  • At least 1 to 2 years working experience. Fresh grad with strong attention to detail also are encouraged to apply.
  • Able to adapt and work efficiently in different processing environments.
  • Flexible to start work / finish work according to suppliers' processing time.
  • Adapt well with changes (schedule, plan).
  • Require travelling i.e. for outstation and local audits / checks.
  • Strong technical knowledge / background.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Troubleshooter.
  • Observant.
  • Physically fit.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM2, RM2,600.00 per month
