About the role

ELEGANZ LIFESTYLE SDN BHD' is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic EV Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in Penang Island, Penang, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of electric vehicles, ensuring they operate at peak performance.

What you'll be doing

  1. Diagnosing and repairing electric vehicle systems, including batteries, motors, and electronic components
  2. Performing scheduled maintenance and inspections to proactively identify and address any issues
  3. Collaborating with the wider team to ensure efficient and effective vehicle operations
  4. Staying up-to-date with the latest EV technologies and best practices in the industry
  5. Maintaining comprehensive records of all repair and maintenance activities
  6. Providing excellent customer service and technical support to our clients

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1 year experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, with a focus on electric vehicles
  2. Strong technical skills and hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing EV systems
  3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues
  4. Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment and tools
  5. A keen interest in emerging EV technologies and a commitment to continuous learning
  6. Good communication and customer service skills
  7. Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive or EV maintenance
