Job Description

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team to ensure they meet and exceed individual and team sales targets for various personal and wealth banking products
  • Formulate and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to expand the customer base and deepen existing customer relationships.
  • Monitor team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Identify market opportunities and competitive threats, and develop strategies to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal policies, banking regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Product Development) to develop and implement campaigns and initiatives that support sales objectives.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and professionally to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and services to effectively position UOB's personal banking offerings.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in retail banking sales, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets in a personal banking environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of personal and wealth banking products and services
  • Sound understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
