The Manager of Southern Business School will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and development of the School.

Job Description:

Strategic Leadership & Development

  • Drive the overall vision, strategy, and positioning of SBS as a premier unit within Southern UC.
  • Identify emerging industries, market needs, and global trends to align SBS programs and initiatives with industry demands.

Academic & Programme Management

  • Oversee the planning, development, and delivery of academic and professional programmes under SBS.
  • Ensure quality assurance and continuous improvement of course offerings.

Industry & Partnership Engagement

  • Establish and maintain strong networks with industry partners, government agencies, and professional bodies.
  • Develop collaborative initiatives such as joint programmes, executive training, consultancy, and MoUs to enhance SBS visibility and impact.

Operational & Financial Management

  • Manage budgets, resources, and performance indicators to ensure sustainability and growth of SBS.

Student & Community Development

  • Promote student recruitment through innovative outreach and branding strategies.
  • Engage in community outreach projects that strengthen SBS's role as a business education hub.

Job Requirements:

  • Min Bachelor Degree & above.
  • Min 5 years' experience in education or marketing, with at least 2 years in management role.
  • Excellent cross – cultural communication, team leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholder.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages — Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia and other dialects.
  • Flexible, innovative, and able to navigate complex international issue.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform strategies and decisions.
