Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Calculate and process accurate salary payments, ensuring all components are correct including the performance bonuses. allowances and overtime pay. Manage and ensure compliance with statutory contributions, including PCB, KWSP (EPF), SOCSO, EIS, and HRDF.
- Maintain and troubleshoot payroll software systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and relevant authorities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in payroll operations. Provide clear communication and support to employees regarding payroll policies.
- Implement the pre onboard preparation and registration ID card for the new joiner. Prepare and submit EA forms for employees in compliance with local tax regulations.
- Coordinate and manage tax clearance for departing employees, ensuring all financial obligations are met. Ensure payroll processes and records comply with internal and external audit requirements. Prepare for and support payroll audits as needed.
- Coordinate and manage employee medical checkups, outpatient/ inpatient services and life insurance. Train and mentor junior payroll staff, providing guidance on payroll processes and compliance.
- Stay updated with changes in statutory regulations and implement necessary adjustments. At the same way, stay informed about industry best practices and legislative changes. Organize and participate in team activities and campaigns to enhance team cohesion and promote the company's employer brand.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by immediate superior, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to urgent requirements.

- Office location: Lot 9-02, Level 9, Plaza Zurich, No. 12, Jalan Gelenggang, Bukit Damansara, 50490, Kuala Lumpur - Accessible through Semantan MRT.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of statutory regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and attention to detail skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin, Mandarin is required as employee is required to communicate with Chinese stakeholders.
