About Us

Top-A Plastic Sdn. Bhd. is a growing plastic manufacturing company committed to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement. We are looking for a dedicated Mould Technician to join our production team and support our expanding operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine servicing, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of injection moulds.
  • Conduct incoming inspections on moulds from suppliers or external service providers to ensure they meet required specifications.
  • Manage receiving and sending-out of moulds, including documentation, tracking, and safe handling.
  • Prepare and submit mould defect reports with clear root-cause analysis and proposed improvement actions.
  • Improve mould setup processes to enhance cycle time, machine efficiency, and product quality.
  • Ensure moulds are properly cleaned, inspected, and stored after production runs.
  • Support production teams during mould changeovers, setup adjustments, and start-up activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain accurate records for mould servicing, repairs, modifications, movement, and inspection results.

Requirements

  • Minimum SPM or technical certificate in Mechanical, Tooling, Mould & Die, or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Mould Technician in a manufacturing or plastic injection moulding environment.
  • Experience in an injection moulding or tooling environment is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of mould structure, components, and basic tooling functions.
  • Ability to identify mould defects during inspection and recommend corrective measures.
  • Organised, responsible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to work overtime or shifts when required.
  • Proficient in English and Malay.
