Job Title: HR Executive

Department: Human Resources

Industry: Plastic Injection Moulding Manufacturing

Reporting To: HR Manager / General Manager


Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Workforce Management

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for both local and foreign employees (general workers, operators, and technicians).
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies for foreign hires, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing of FOMEMA, calling visas, and PLKS renewals via MYEG/EPLKS.
  • Maintain workforce planning to meet production demands efficiently.
  • Conduct onboarding, orientation, and background checks to ensure smooth employee integration.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as the main contact for employee relations, grievances, and HR-related inquiries.
  • Manage disciplinary actions, counseling, and conflict resolution in accordance with company policies.
  • Organize employee engagement programs, welfare activities, and festive events to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Oversee worker hostels, ensuring compliance with JTK (Labour Department) hostel regulations and maintaining cleanliness, safety, and comfort for all occupants.

3. Performance Management & Employee Development

  • Coordinate performance appraisal exercises, KPI setting, and staff development planning.
  • Support skill development, training, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
  • Conduct and update induction training for new employees, emphasizing safety and company culture.

4. HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including attendance, leave, and personal files.
  • Handle employment-related documentation such as confirmation, transfers, terminations, and disciplinary letters.
  • Manage renewals of FOMEMA, insurance, and special passes, ensuring no disruption to legal employment status.
  • Coordinate with panel clinics and insurance providers for worker medical and insurance matters.
  • Process and verify monthly worker salary and related payroll documentation.

5. Compliance & Industrial Relations

  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and regulations (Employment Act, OSHA, Factories & Machinery Act, and Immigration laws).
  • Prepare and support audits or inspections by government agencies (JTK, DOSH, Immigration, etc.).
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to align with statutory requirements and ISO standards.

6. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

  • Collaborate with the Safety Officer to implement and maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
  • Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with workplace safety and environmental standards.
  • Support safety awareness campaigns and internal audits.

7. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

  • Plan and coordinate CSR programs and community outreach initiatives in line with company values.
  • Foster positive relationships with local communities and promote environmental and social sustainability activities.

8. Reporting & Strategic HR Support

  • Prepare HR reports on recruitment, turnover, training, and workforce analytics for management review.
  • Provide HR insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
