The Development Operations Analyst (DevOps Analyst) is responsible for managing the deployment, automation, and maintenance of software applications and infrastructure across development, testing, and production environments. This role bridges software development and IT operations to ensure efficient and reliable delivery of system updates, with focus on scalability, security, and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines.

  1. CI/CD Pipeline Management

  2. Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for applications and microservices.

  3. Automate build, test, and deployment processes to streamline releases.

  4. Monitor and troubleshoot build failures and deployment issues.

  5. Infrastructure Management & Automation

  6. Manage infrastructure using IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

  7. Ensure high system availability, scalability, and performance in cloud and on-prem environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).

  8. Maintain configuration management and automate routine maintenance tasks.

  9. System Monitoring & Reliability

  10. Implement and maintain system monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, APM, CloudWatch, CloudFlare).

  11. Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, or infrastructure risks.

  12. Support root cause analysis for production incidents and ensure proper postmortem documentation.

  13. Collaboration & Release Management

  14. Collaborate closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to plan and execute deployments.

  15. Participate in release management cycles, including staging validation and production rollout.

  16. Ensure proper version control and documentation of deployment configurations.

  17. Security & Compliance

  18. Enforce secure configuration practices, credential management, and system hardening.

  19. Maintain compliance with data protection and IT governance standards.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 – 10 years of experience in DevOps, or software engineering.
  • Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, AWS pipeline, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#, , ), development frameworks (Android, UniApp, Ant Design, .net Core, Dapr) and automation frameworks.
  • Experience in managing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud components.
  • Experience with application monitoring, debugging, and incident management tools (e.g., Splunk, Grafana, Jira).
  • Knowledge of database administration and optimization (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AuroraDB, Elastic Search, Open Search).
  • Understanding microservices, swagger and RESTful API deployment.
  • Familiarity with Agile or DevOps methodologies.
  • Basic network knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight timelines.
  • Attention to detail and proactive in identifying improvement areas.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English language and fluent communication in Cantonese and Mandarin.
