Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Engineer with solid experience in pneumatic/mechanical engineering products and customer-facing roles within the manufacturing industries. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, providing technical expertise, and strengthening client relationships through solution-based selling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development
  • Develop and execute sales strategies
  • Identify, qualify, and follow up on new business opportunities.
  • Expand existing customer accounts and maintain long-term business relationships.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Customer Engagement
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients.
  • Understand customer pain points and recommend pneumatic solutions tailored to their processes and operations.
  • Conduct technical presentations, demos, and on-site visits.
  • Technical Support & Product Knowledge
  • Possess deep knowledge of pneumatic products (e.g., actuators, valves, air preparation units, cylinders) or mechanical engineering products
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to customize solutions and troubleshoot issues.
  • Market Intelligence
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities
  • Provide feedback to internal teams regarding customer needs, product improvements, and market demands.
  • Reporting & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities using CRM tools.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business reviews.

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in pneumatics or mechanical engineering to various industries/factories
  • Proven track record in technical sales, account management, and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of industrial automation, process control, and pneumatic systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel (as needed).
