About the role

Matahari is seeking a talented Supply Chain Executive to join our dynamic team in Taman Sri Andalas, Selangor. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in optimising our supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials to support the company's manufacturing and logistics activities.

What you'll be doing

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan inventory levels
  2. Monitor and manage the procurement of raw materials, components, and finished goods
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics providers to coordinate the timely delivery of goods
  4. Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and industry standards
  5. Monitoring shipment status and providing regular updates to stakeholders
  6. Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports as required

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a supply chain or procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry, good understanding of import/export procedures and customs regulations
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to utilise data to drive decision-making
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  5. Proficiency in supply chain management software and data analysis tools
  6. Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
