The Sourcing & Procurement Manager is responsible and accountable for the Bank's end-to-end strategic IT sourcing, procurement, and contract management to maximize value for money across bank-wide spending

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement effective IT sourcing and procurement strategies, policies, processes and systems required for pre and post-contract management including Tenders, RFQ and RFPs.
  • Review, draft and prepare agreements, letters, and documents in relation to legal matters which entail commercial elements under the Procurement department.
  • Deliver structured managed contract process from determining needs, assisting in vendor selection, analyzing risk, negotiating and executing agreements benefiting the bank through the life of IT contracts covering software, hardware and etc.
  • Responsible for improving vendor relationships and performance by negotiating favorable terms and conditions related to pricing, service level standards and business unit requirements.
  • Advocating for a zero-tolerance position on corruption and bribery inter and intra-team, aligned to the Bank's/ Group's IT sourcing and procurement best practices while meeting compliance matrices set.
  • Keep abreast of more efficient, innovative and cost-effective ways to improve current cost control and work processes and to drive IT sourcing and procurement best practices.
  • Lead price negotiations to achieve competitive rates for IT hardware, software, and related items, and actively support cross functional activities that meet procurement demands.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Master Degree in Financing/Accounting/Banking, Economics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, or relevant equivalent supply-chain qualification.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Skilled in proposing and executing strategic cost-saving initiatives.
  • Comfortable presenting/communicating to senior management with great command in language.
  • Experienced in carrying out vendor, product and total ownership cost analyses.
