(a MAS-licensed CMS holder permitted to carry out, inter alia, brokerage and custody services), MetaComp introduces its suite of services through CAMP (Client Assets Management Platform) which allow businesses to develop and scale their digital asset offerings through various products and/or services such as over-the-counter transactions, fiat payments, digital asset custody and prime brokerage.

Key Summary:
We are seeking a skilled TechOps Engineer to support our technology operations, including release management, observability, and production support. This role is crucial in ensuring operational resilience and production support excellence. You will work closely with the TechOps Director and other stakeholders to maintain and operate our technology platforms across various cloud environments and emerging web3 technologies.

Role Overview:
The TechOps Engineer is responsible for application deployments, monitoring service health, resolving customer issues, and addressing technical challenges. You'll troubleshoot, assess trouble tickets, and help resolve customer problems, create support documentation, and collaborate with other technology teams on issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

Release Management:

• Automate and execute code-to-production CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and configuration management.
• Enforce release governance, such as security scanning and rollback triggers.
• Collaborate with technology teams to ensure zero-downtime deployments.

Production Support:

• Provide tiered support and escalation processes for the Technology Service Desk.
• Troubleshoot and solve technical issues for customers and users.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to reproduce and resolve customer problems.
• Contribute to process improvements for the support team and customer experience.
• Create technical support resources like playbooks for common platform failure scenarios.
• Lead triage and escalations during outages. Communicate with customers during outages and lead recovery efforts.
• Document post-mortems to address root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Develop tools/scripts for improving support processes.

Platform Observability:

• Design and deploy centralized monitoring for applications and infrastructure.
• Proactively monitor service health and performance of cloud compute, networks, and storage, and detect anomalies.
• Monitor API usage patterns, latency, throughput, and uptime.
• Maintain runbooks for BAU platform operations, such as DB backups.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent technical experience.
• 3+ years' experience in software development or technical support.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for technical systems.
• System Admin experience with Linux and/or Windows Server (Active Directory, Exchange).
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Experience with network troubleshooting (e.g., telnet, iperf).
• Programming/scripting experience (e.g., Batch, PowerShell, Java).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting application stacks from OS to application runtime.
• Knowledge of security best practices.
• Familiarity with AWS, OCI Cloud services, and cloud deployments.

Other Requirements:

• Willing to work on a rotational shift schedule if needed.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required for communication with various stakeholders across the Asia region.
