Position Summary
As a
Global Buyer for Ingredients,
you will be at the heart of Nestlé's global supply chain, shaping the sourcing strategy for the ingredients that power some of the world's most iconic brands. This is not just procurement—it's a strategic role where your decisions influence millions of products enjoyed in kitchens across the globe.

Reporting directly to the Global Category Leader, you'll help define and execute category strategies at both regional and global levels. You'll leverage strategic sourcing experience, analytical mindset, and collaborative approach to deliver value and ensure compliance across a complex, interconnected supply network.

Be a Force for Good
A day in a life of a Global Buyer – Ingredients (Emulsifiers)

• Contributing to the development and execution the category strategy to deliver value to the business from cost improvements, sustainability activities and ensuring supply.
• Contributing to the global sourcing strategy by implementing the communication and supplier management plan.
• Identifying opportunities for cost and efficiency optimization, and leading global initiatives to enhance value creation.
• Preparing for and supporting negotiation events as approved by the Global Category Leader
• Managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to monitor and drive progress for cost initiatives, source to pay challenges, sustainability, and responsible sourcing initiatives.
• Managing day-to-day procurement activities including RFx and contracting processes for your portfolio of ingredients, Markets or business units

What Makes You Successful

• A minimum of 2 years' experience within Procurement, ideally within chemicals, ingredients or similar raw materials.
• High learning speed and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a dynamic, multi-national organization.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across a complex organization.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and analytical thinking abilities are critical
• Experience in chemical engineering or food science, and sustainability projects will be advantageous
