Accountant (German Speaker)

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Perform 3 Way match for purchases
• Oversee inter-company accounts payable processes
• Prepare payment to suppliers and payment forecast
• Work closely with other departments to resolve issues on receivings and/ other accounts payable issues.
• Ensure all open payments are properly updated and knock off against supplier invoices
• Ensure prompt posting/ updates of invoices
• Review and analyse Accounts payable aging
• Perform monthly accounts reconciliation
• Compilation of withholding tax and service tax reports and payments
• Implement controls procedures for accounts payable related processes.
• Responsible for yearly financial audit compilations.
• Perform ad-hoc duties and reports as assigned by the superior.

Minimum Qualification

• Candidate must possess at least a degree/ diploma in accounting, ACCA, CIMA or other equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years relevant working experience in manufacturing environment.
• Hands on and a team player who are able to deal with all level of people.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage projects and workload with minimal supervision, attention to detail and result-oriented.
• Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Must possess analytical skills to work in a fast-paced environment
• Meticulous and timeliness in meeting deadlines
• Must be computer literate, familiar with ERP system, MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
• German-speaking candidates with knowledge of European Value Added Tax (VAT) are preferred to work closely with Swiss counterpart.
