Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Tax Assistant Manager / Tax Manager at our Bukit Mertajam location. The role involves managing tax-related matters, including overseeing tax compliance, conducting tax planning, and preparing tax documentation. The position requires a deep understanding of tax laws to provide accurate advice, handle tax audits, and ensure timely submissions. Additionally, the role includes mentoring a team of professionals to meet organizational objectives and maintain high service standards.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Tax Compliance, Tax Planning, and Tax Preparation
  • Thorough understanding of Tax Law and the ability to effectively interpret and apply these regulations
  • Core knowledge in various aspects of Tax, including audits and resolving tax-related issues
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to mentor and guide team members
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are highly advantageous
  • Experience working in accounting or audit firms, particularly in a leadership capacity, is a plus
  • Proficient in relevant accounting software and tools
