ENGINEER (FACILITIES DEPARTMENT)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in ensuring efficient operation and functions of Electrical Section, Facilities Department.
  • Ensure all company`s electrical assets and installations are well maintained.
  • Ensure operational excellence by ensuring uninterruptable water supply at critical installation such as Bukit Dumbar, Bukit Gedong, Teluk Kumbar, Padang Brown and Farlim.
  • Ensure optimum and efficient utilization of energy at company's installations.
  • Plan for timely upgrading of company's installation
  • Ensure all company's installations and operations are incompliance with relevant acts and regulations governing the industry.
  • Ensure critical installation are safe from sabotage, theft and vandalism.
  • Vet & review new planning submission plans and ensure timely reply.
  • Ensure availability of skilled, competent and motivated workforce.
  • Contribute towards effective relations with relevant government agencies, regulators and organizations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering and approved by Malaysian Government
  • Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as a Graduate Engineer would be an added advantage
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in related field
  • Proficient in both written and spoken in Bahasa Malaysia and English
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude, highly initiative and able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Possess ability to work under pressure, tight schedules and in stringent environment

Positions offered is contract for one ( 1 ) year prior to the absorption into permanent posts and subject to job performance.
