How so? As a Research Specialist, you will assist our Fund Managers in

  • conducting in-depth, timely and critical research and analysis of companies, industries and their underlying technologies and businesses in the area of your specialization and expertise;
  • undertaking comprehensive supply chain research to gain a holistic understanding of the technology, industry and business;
  • monitoring technological, commercial and industry developments and trends and be prepared to give speedy, precise opinion on a specific subject when requested; and
  • generating investment ideas in the area of your specialization and expertise.

Apart from strong analytical skills, you must possess excellent written and spoken communication skills in English. As we conduct our research globally, fluency in other languages such as Mandarin will be an advantage.

In addition, you are expected to thrive on meeting challenges, able to cope with tight deadlines, have a pleasant personality and a strong persevering character.

You will be working under the direct mentorship of our highly experienced Group Managing Director, Tan Teng Boo. You will be provided with on-the-job training.
