Role Overview

We're looking for a Low Latency Quant Systems Developer to design, build, and optimize high-performance trading systems for US equities and cryptocurrency markets.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on developing real-time, high-throughput systems that operate with microsecond-level latency. You'll collaborate closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and infrastructure engineers to deliver cutting-edge systems that drive live trading performance and reliability.


Key Responsibilities

  • System Design & Development

  • Build ultra-low latency trading systems using modern C++ (C++17/20).

  • Implement market data handlers, order execution gateways, and risk control modules.
  • Develop simulation and backtesting frameworks for strategy validation.

  • Performance Optimization

  • Profile and tune systems for sub-millisecond performance and high throughput.

  • Optimize networking, serialization, and memory usage in critical paths.
  • Improve order routing and feed handling across multiple exchanges (FIX, native APIs, WebSocket).

  • Collaboration & Integration

  • Work closely with quants to integrate trading models into production.

  • Partner with infrastructure teams on bare-metal deployments, low-latency networking, and time synchronization (PTP).

  • Monitoring & Reliability

  • Build robust, fault-tolerant systems with real-time monitoring and alerting.

  • Ensure system resilience, high availability, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Support US trading hours (3pm – 12am MYT).

Key Requirements
  • Strong in modern C++ (C++17/20) — mastery of multi-threading, lock-free data structures, and template metaprogramming.
  • Proven experience building or optimizing low-latency systems (NUMA, RDMA, DPDK, kernel bypass).
  • Understanding of market microstructure, order types, and execution logic for equities or crypto.
  • Familiarity with market data protocols (ITCH, OUCH, FIX, WebSocket APIs).
  • Proficient in Linux systems programming, network programming, and performance profiling tools (gperf, perf, valgrind).
  • 3–7 years of experience in low-latency trading systems or high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Bonus Points
  • GPU acceleration (CUDA) or FPGA programming for ultra-low latency trading.
  • Python scripting for analytics or automation.
  • Exposure to cryptography, blockchain, or distributed systems.
