Purpose:

The Business Development Manager will report to the Managing Director in performing his or her key responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage long-term strategic relationship with existing clients
  • Create and implement sales strategies and identifying new markets to maximize business opportunities
  • Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Secure new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts
  • Conduct market research, understand and keep up-to-date with latest industry developments and trends

Professional Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Finance / Business preferred
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or relevant role
  • 1 -3 years experience in the Financial Industry as Business Development/Sales related.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and exceeding targets
  • An individual who is willing to persevere in the face of uncertainties and challenges, supported by a highly experienced team
  • A team player who adds value to the company and is keen to be a part of this close-knit team
  • An eye for identifying campaigns, opportunities and clients in order to develop new and existing businesses
  • Exceptional communication skills with a talent for customer interaction at all levels
  • Highly motivated, quick-learner, self-starter and willingness to go the extra mile
