Company Background:

Our client company, with its headquarters in Japan, is set to establish a manufacturing facility at Pasir Gudang, Malaysia. This plant will focus on electromechanical assembly and advanced material fabrication for semiconductor equipment, designed to meet customer needs while also expanding the company's global business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee import/export processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely deliveries.
  • Handle day-to-day procurement activities, including supplier negotiations and order management.
  • Coordinate shipping and inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and timely delivery.
  • Monitor procurement and logistics budgets, seeking cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain records and generate reports on procurement and logistics performance.
  • Work with internal teams to align procurement and logistics strategies with company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in International Logistics, Procurement, or related fields.
  • Proficient in English, Chinese, and Malay (spoken and written).
  • Prior experience in procurement and logistics within large manufacturing companies preferred.
  • Experience in import/export, supplier management, and customs regulations.
  • Proficient in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range: RM 5,000 - 8,000
