Procurement responsibilities

  • Sourcing and negotiation: Identify and vet new and existing suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and manage the tender process.
  • Purchasing: Issue purchase orders, verify supplier prices, and check for the availability of materials.
  • Supplier management: Maintain strong relationships with vendors, monitor their performance, and handle invoice processing.
  • Record keeping: Maintain accurate procurement records and documents.

Supply chain responsibilities

  • Inventory and logistics: Manage daily procurement requirements, control inventory, and ensure efficient logistics and delivery processes.
  • Stakeholder coordination: Liaise with internal departments like engineering and operations to coordinate delivery schedules and material needs.
  • Shipment management: Manage import shipments and deliveries with forwarders, ensuring a smooth process.
  • Cost and waste reduction: Participate in cost-reduction initiatives and lean inventory control to minimize surplus and waste.

General and administrative responsibilities

  • Reporting: Prepare reports on cost, inventory, and supplier performance.
  • Budgeting: Assist in budget planning and monitor related expenditures.
  • Administrative support: Handle administrative functions, office supplies inventory, and support office events.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM4,500.00 per month
