Job Description:


• Research potential local and overseas vendors / Conducting research on potential products, vendors, and services, and comparing price and quality to ensure the best deal


• Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
• Meeting with vendors and clients to negotiate the best contract terms of agreement and pricing from preferred sellers


• Evaluate/ audit preferred sellers with IQA


• Track orders and ensure timely delivery


• Review quality of purchased products


• Attending events, shows, and exhibitions to network with vendors and view new products if any


• Enter order/suppliers' details (e.g., vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases


• Maintain supplier's profile / product range / price / and update timely


• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices


• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses


• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed


• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage

Requirements:


• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
•

Minimum 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the EMS manufacturing sector.


• Experienced in direct material sourcing (mechanical parts) preferred


• Familiarity with supply chain processes and direct materials procurement.


• Experience handling both direct and indirect materials is an added advantage.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.


• Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.


• Proficiency in Mandarin is a strong advantage to liaise effectively with China-based suppliers
