Job Overview

The Transport Planner will be responsible for planning and coordinating transportation schedules, ensuring timely delivery of temperature-controlled goods, and maintaining effective communication between drivers, customers, and internal teams. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations through effective fleet management, maintenance coordination, and delivery planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and monitor daily transport routes for cold chain deliveries.
• Liaise with customers on delivery orders, schedules, and specific requirements.
• Assign drivers and ensure adherence to planned routes and delivery timelines.
• Prepare and update transport schedules, making real-time adjustments when needed.
• Maintain strong communication with drivers to manage delays and route changes.
• Track truck utilization, delivery performance, and fleet availability.
• Schedule trucks for service and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with the workshop team on vehicle repairs and maintenance planning.
• Continuously review and improve transport planning and scheduling processes.
• Support management in reporting transport performance and operational data.

What We're Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in transport planning or fleet coordination.
• Experience in cold chain logistics is an added advantage.
• Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
• Responsive, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with GPS or transport management systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM5,000.00 per month
