  • Able to work under minimum supervision with tight datelines

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Monitor and improve tester utilization (SPC, Production, Idle, Engineering time).
  • Support production line in troubleshooting test failures, tester downtime, and correlation issues.
  • Own SPC test requirements and ensure SPC execution is effective, efficient, and not excessive ("no overkill").
  • Continuously review SPC test time, intervals, and durations to balance product quality assurance with throughput.
  • Drive continuous improvement in yield, first-pass rate, and units per hour (UPH).
  • Analyze test data, traceviews to identify bottlenecks and recurring issues that affect testers throughout.
  • Perform large-scale data mining (SQL, Python, JMP, Excel, Power BI) to monitor yield, SPC trends, and tester health. – this is a nice-to-have skill, but not necessary
  • Generate weekly/monthly dashboards on UPH, insertion yield, and tester utilization.
  • Provide executive summaries highlighting risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Test Development for correlation and NPI handoff.
  • Partner with IE/PE teams for capacity planning and tester allocation.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to production operators and technicians.
