MES System Engineer

About Us:

Alton Intelligent Technology Sdn. Bhd. is wholly foreign-owned by Alton Industry Ltd. Group, a US-based global supplier of household products and industrial tools, with a total land area of 45.25 acres.

The base in Malaysia has established a comprehensive complex of six full-featured factories. These factories integrate motor assembly, sheet metal processing, injection moulding, general assembly lines, and automated intelligent warehousing.

In addition to the core production and storage areas, it also carefully designed a five-story modern office building, two three-story canteens and activity centers full of life, and four five-story dormitory buildings.

What you'll be doing:

1. Responsible for designing manufacturing system solutions, system implementation, daily operation support, and optimization for systems such as MES, QMS, APS, WMS, SRM, and SAP.
2. Lead or actively participate in the deployment of digital manufacturing systems including MES (Manufacturing Execution System), WMS (Warehouse Management System), APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling), and QMS (Quality Management System).
3. Handle data integration between MES and other systems such as ERP and PLM; be familiar with industrial communication protocols such as OPC UA and Modbus to assist in equipment data collection.
4. Conduct on-site business process analysis and optimization, translating business needs into technical solutions and system workflows to improve efficiency and alignment.
5. Provide technical support and maintenance after system go-live, troubleshoot issues, propose solutions, and deliver system training to related departments such as Production, Planning, and Quality.
6. Explore the application of cutting-edge technologies such as AI, Big Data analytics, and Digital Twin in smart manufacturing scenarios (e.g., predictive maintenance, quality optimization, and productivity enhancement).

What we're looking for:

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Intelligent Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or other related fields.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in smart manufacturing or related areas; candidates with implementation experience in MES/WMS/APS/QMS or industrial automation projects are preferred.
3. Candidates with experience in manufacturing digital transformation or Midea MES delivery projects will be given priority.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and sense of responsibility, able to independently analyze and resolve complex system issues.
5. Excellent cross-departmental communication and coordination skills, capable of translating business language into technical solutions and driving project execution.
6. Good team spirit and ability to work under pressure.
7. Passionate about smart manufacturing, with strong self-motivation and quick learning capability for new technologies.
8. Language requirements: Proficient in Chinese, English, and Malay.
