We are looking for a talented Merchandising Executive to join our team in enhancing our retail merchandising.

What you'll do:

  1. Stock Management - Planning, sourcing, ordering, restocking, arranging store deliveries & transfers of merchandise and stock items of various categories such as socks, balls, sand art, Yakult, TCG, Kuji, etc
  2. Merchandising Schedule Planning - Support monthly merchandising schedule in terms of ATRG (transfer out), creating PLU buttons and publishing items in parafait
  3. Inventory Management - Control inventory budget, assets by performing monthly stock takes and investigating losses
  4. Prepare payment vouchers for merchandising purchase orders
  5. To select Japan merchandising products based on market trends and machine booth requirements
  6. To support joint company event planning with Marketing and Business Development departments
  7. To create displays and introduce new items based on market trends
  8. Monitor and analyse sales performances of test items and displays on weekly basis
  9. Monitor and analyse performance of crane machine sales and display plans on weekly basis
  10. To check pulse report and plan appropriate actions for low/high cost ratio of merchandise
  11. To plan inbound and outbound merchandises related with Hitachi
  12. Provide guidance and educate Operations staff on merchandising related matters
  13. To handle courier and Pos Laju related matters
  14. To manage and order game material related to promotions
  15. To handle P.O.P creation related to game machines and prize redemption
  16. Prepare slides for monthly merchandising segment in "Kita Mesti Boleh" newsletter

What you need to succeed as a Merchandising Executive:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in any related fields
  • At least 1 year of experience in merchandising and inventory management
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with retail inventory management systems and software.
  • Good command in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
