Student Recruitment Officer – MedicMesir

Department: Student Recruitment & Outreach

Reports To: Head of Student Affairs / Director, MedicMesir

Location: HQ & field (events, roadshows, online)

1. Position Summary

The Student Recruitment Officer is responsible for promoting MedicMesir programs, guiding prospective students and parents, managing inquiries, and supporting the full admission and enrolment process for students pursuing studies in Egypt. This role includes marketing, counselling, outreach, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth recruitment and placement.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Student Counselling & Advisory

  • Provide accurate and updated information on Medicine, Dentistry, and related programs in Egypt.
  • Advise students on entry requirements, documents, fees, timelines, and processes.
  • Conduct one-on-one consultations (online & offline).
  • Guide students on university selection (Al Azhar, Tanta, Alexandria, etc.).
  • Assist students with queries about living in Egypt, culture, accommodation, safety, and preparations.

B. Recruitment & Outreach

  • Attend, organize, and represent MedicMesir at education fairs, roadshows, school visits, and events.
  • Conduct webinars, LIVE sessions (FB, TikTok, Zoom) to promote study opportunities in Egypt.
  • Collaborate with schools, counsellors, agents, and partners to generate leads.
  • Promote MM programs through community groups, WhatsApp, Telegram, and social platforms.

C. Admissions & Documentation

  • Assist students with the entire application pipeline including:
  • Registration
  • Document checking
  • Pre-admission screening
  • Scholarship/financial aid info
  • Visa submission
  • Ensure all submitted documents meet university and Egyptian Ministry requirements.
  • Track application status and follow up with students to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain accurate student records and filing systems.

D. Marketing & Content

  • Prepare promotional materials, brochures, and announcement posts.
  • Assist in creating social media content (short videos, informational posts).
  • Provide feedback on marketing campaigns and student trends.
  • Collaborate with the MM media team to produce:
  • FAQ videos
  • Student stories
  • Ambassador programs
  • Awareness content on studying in Egypt

E. Customer Service & Parent Engagement

  • Respond to inquiries promptly via WhatsApp, phone, email, and social media.
  • Maintain professional, friendly, and supportive communication with parents.
  • Provide updated timelines, deadlines, and next steps to families.
  • Handle complaints or concerns and escalate where necessary.

F. Student Affairs Support

  • Assist during departure logistics (flight, airport assembly, luggage guidance).
  • Support orientation programs, briefings, and pre-departure training.
  • Coordinate with MM teams in Egypt for arrival support.
  • Maintain communication with students after departure to ensure smooth transition

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM6,000.00 per month
