About the role

TESS International Group is seeking a driven and ambitious IT Graduate Trainee to join our team on a contract basis in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. This is an exciting internship opportunity for a recent graduate interested in gaining hands-on experience in the dynamic field of Information & Communication Technology. As an IT Graduate Trainee, you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge while contributing to the success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of IT systems and solutions to meet the business requirements of TESS International Group
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure
  • Participate in the development and testing of software applications, databases, and other IT-related projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, conduct fact-finding, R&D and resolve IT-related issues
  • Contribute to the documentation of IT processes, procedures, and best practices
  • Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the IT industry
  • Contribute to the Research and Development in Financial Crime Solution such as AML and Fraud Technology

What we're looking for

  • Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business IT, Intelligent Systems or a related field
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good understanding of IT concepts and technologies, including programming languages, databases, and operating systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proactive and eager to learn, with a keen interest in the IT industry and its evolving trends
