JOB DESCRIPTIONS

  • Supervise daily accounting activities, guide accounting staff, and resolve operational issues.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental work processes to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with SOPs and statutory requirements.
  • Review journal entries, reconciliations (AR & AP), payment vouchers, internal documents, and maintain the chart of accounts.
  • Prepare, review, and ensure timely submission of financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and yearly), including budgets, forecasts, and group returns.
  • Oversee tax matters including annual tax computation and liaise with tax agents.
  • Coordinate and support audit processes, liaising with internal/external auditors, bankers, and other external parties.
  • Manage financial records such as Land & Development Expenditure Schedules, Credit Facilities Listing, and performance reports.
  • Review and verify tender evaluations, attend tender openings, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Liaise with bankers for project financing applications and other financial matters.
  • Supervise, plan, and evaluate subordinates' tasks, while undertaking any additional assignments directed by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in accounting field.
  • Familiarity in computerized accounting programmes.
