Juris Technologies is a leading software development and delivery company specializing in providing critical digital solutions to banks and financial institutions. As we continue to scale regionally, we are looking for a Finance Manager to strengthen leadership capability within the Finance function and bridge strategic alignment across all financial pillars.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this role provides leadership continuity across the Finance team while driving process improvements, enterprise-wide risk governance, and operational excellence in partnership with Finance Leads and other business units.

Based in Bangsar South, Malaysia, this position is ideal for a finance leader who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment and can balance strategic direction with operational execution. The role calls for a professional who will help elevate Juris' financial governance, business performance visibility, and leadership depth as the company continues its regional expansion. 

OVERVIEW

We are looking for talented individuals who will drive strategic alignment, enhance reporting, enterprise-wide risk and vendor governance, process improvements and finance-transformation initiatives – in support of the JurisTech's high-growth regional expansion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide overall leadership alignment across the Finance function, fostering collaboration, accountability, and consistent communication between the CFO, Finance Leads, and their teams.

  • Drive leadership cadence and OKR tracking, ensuring progress, transparency, and delivery of department-wide outcomes.

  • Strengthen management reporting by enhancing the consolidation, analysis, and presentation of financial insights, trends, and risks to shareholders and the leadership team.

  • Support business unit and product revenue tracking, analysing performance against targets and providing recommendations based on trends and profitability insights.

  • Lead enterprise-wide risk management, developing and institutionalising a framework to identify, assess, and monitor financial, operational, project, product, innovation, and customer-related risks.

  • Lead vendor management governance, establishing evaluation metrics, performance reviews, and renewal processes to enhance commercial and operational accountability.

  • Drive company-wide process improvement and standardisation, embedding structured governance, automation, and performance measurement across financial and operational processes.

  • Collaborate with Contracts Strategy and other Business Services teams to enhance commercial and operational governance across the organisation.

  • Promote a culture of performance and accountability, coaching and empowering Finance Leads and team members to achieve high standards of delivery and ownership.

  • Champion finance transformation initiatives, including the use of automation, digitalisation, and AI tools to improve efficiency, insight generation, and team productivity.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in finance and audit, preferably from a Big 4 or mid-tier audit firm, or within large MNCs or fast-paced industries.

  • Holds at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with strong academic results (good CGPA).

  • Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MICPA, or ICAEW) is an added advantage.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with proven ability to lead small to medium-sized teams and drive accountability across multiple functions.

  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of MFRS / IFRS standards and their application to financial reporting and compliance.

  • Proven ability to implement process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and build scalable financial systems.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present clear financial insights to management and shareholders.

  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a structured and outcome-driven approach.

  • Familiarity in leveraging AI-assisted tools and automation platforms to enhance financial processes and reporting accuracy.

  • Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment with exposure to regional and cross-departmental collaboration.

  • (Advantage) Experience in enterprise risk management or vendor governance frameworks.

  • (Advantage) Exposure to regional scaling of finance or shared services functions.

  • (Advantage) Experience in technology, enterprise software, or workflow-based industries.

  • (Advantage) Involvement in finance transformation or process optimisation projects.
