About the role

We are looking for a motivated Fresh Graduate / Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at Makassar Ventures Sdn. Bhd. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the successful delivery of construction projects — ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time position based in Kajang, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting with the preparation of Bills of Quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents
  • Monitoring and controlling project costs, including tracking and reporting on budget variances
  • Negotiating and managing subcontractor and supplier contracts
  • Preparing valuation reports and interim payment certificates
  • Providing support to the project team in addressing technical and commercial issues
  • Maintaining accurate project records and documentation

What we're looking for

  • Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a construction or property development environment, fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and MS Office applications
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry regulations
