JOB SUMMARY: THE CHALLENGE

We are seeking a
Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Estimator
who will be responsible for meticulously analyzing tender specifications and preparing accurate, competitive cost estimates. This role is crucial for winning bids and ensuring profitable project execution across major M&E and Facilities Management sectors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Tender Analysis:
    Analyze all tender documents, including the Bill of Quantities (BQ), unit prices, and clarification documents.
  • Cost Estimation:
    Develop accurate bid cost estimates for project construction activities and services.
  • Resource Management:
    Establish and maintain a comprehensive database of costs, materials, and supply sources.
  • Project Coordination:
    Assist with project coordination, planning, and monitoring activities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Attend necessary meetings with consultants, contractors, and site visits.

QUALIFICATIONS WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Education:
    Possess at least a Diploma or Degree in
    Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or with related education background
    .
  • Experience:
    A minimum of
    3-5 years
    of relevant working experience.
    Fresh graduates are also strongly encouraged to apply
  • Industry Knowledge:
    Familiarity with the
    HVAC & R
    and
    Total Facilities Management (TFM)
    industries is a significant advantage.
  • Technical Skills:
    Proficient in
    Microsoft Office/Autocad applications
    .
  • Personal Traits:
    Must be self-driven (work independently with minimum supervision), a strong communicator, and a team player.
  • Flexibility:
    Must be able to
    work long hours and willing to travel
    .
  • Language:
    Fluency in
    Bahasa Malaysia
    and
    English
    is required.
