Responsibilities

  • Inspect damaged vehicles to assess the extent of structural, body, mechanical, or interior damage.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, parts, and materials required for repair or replacement.
  • Review and discuss repair cost estimates with the Body Shop Manager or Foreman.
  • Coordinate with additional appraisers when necessary to resolve discrepancies in repair cost estimates.
  • Determine the feasibility of repair versus replacement for parts such as bumpers, fenders, and doors.
  • Evaluate the practicality of repair versus total loss settlement based on pre-accident market value.
  • Assess salvage value in cases of total vehicle loss.
  • Prepare and submit detailed insurance forms, including repair cost estimates and recommendations.
  • Estimate costs for repainting, special conversions, or customization of undamaged vehicles.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Body Shop Estimator (B&P or Collision Center).
  • Experience with CCC One estimating software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ADP in-house systems is an advantage.
  • Able to prepare and submit estimates promptly for review and approval by dealers, retail clients, and insurance companies.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a paint or body repair environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Willing to work onsite at Sungai Long, Kajang.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1, RM2,500.00 per month
