RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Invoice processing: Receiving, verifying, and entering vendor invoices into the accounting system.
  • Payment execution: Preparing and scheduling payments (e.g., checks, electronic transfers) to ensure they are made accurately and on time.
  • Account reconciliation: Reconciling invoices, purchase orders, and vendor statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Record keeping: Maintaining historical records of all accounts payable transactions, including filing documents and managing financial data.
  • Expense management: Monitoring and verifying expenses and ensuring they are charged to the correct accounts.
  • Vendor communication: Responding to vendor inquiries, resolving payment issues, and managing vendor relationships.
  • Credit Card management: Monitoring, application, terminating and processing to ensure all matters related is made accurately and on time.
  • Net zero performance: Collecting, processing, and uploading into the accounting system and ensure sustainability reporting is accurate and deadlines are met.
  • Accounting system management: Ensure all data and matters are address on-time (eg. adding and inactive terminated employee, update workflows, generate reminders and follow up on outstanding expenses report)
  • Compliance and reporting: Ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • Residential property management: Engage Operations to ensure residential property leases are terminated or renewed within a timely manner. All process flow is completed within the time frame.
  • Undertake running bank statements (from banking platform) daily and process all debits coming from the bank statements.
  • Other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must possess at least Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or Professional equivalent.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of relevant work experience with strong accounting (Accounts Payable) and reporting knowledge.
  • Experience in Sun system, Evolution, PeopleSoft/Oracle and Cognos system will be an added advantage.
  • Good with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Data entry skills entering approximately 200 per day
  • Ability to multi-tasks and deliver within tight deadlines.
  • Positive and keen to learn attitude. Good integrity.
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with people of all levels.
