Technology Manager

Job Description

1. IT Operations & Infrastructure Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm's IT systems, networks, servers, and hardware.
  • Ensure stable, secure, and efficient performance of all technology platforms used within the firm.
  • Manage system upgrades, maintenance schedules, backups, and disaster recovery processes.

  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and liaise with vendors for procurement and support.

  • Legal Software & Practice Management Systems

  • Manage and support legal-specific software such as document management system and practice management systems.

  • Implement system improvements and troubleshoot user issues to ensure seamless workflow for lawyers and staff.

  • Coordinate with external providers for customizations, integrations, and updates.

  • User Support & Training

  • Lead the IT support team to provide responsive, high-quality assistance to all users.

  • Conduct training sessions on new systems, cybersecurity best practices, and technology tools.

  • Prepare user guides, documentation, and SOPs for internal use.

  • Project Management & Strategic Planning

  • Lead technology projects including system migrations, digital transformation initiatives, and process automation.

  • Work with reporting supervisor to plan IT budgets, identify technology needs, and support business goals.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and security.

  • Team Leadership & Vendor Management

  • Supervise IT personnel, set performance standards, and manage workloads.
