. As we scale our production and global supply chain, we are looking for a
China Vendor Sourcing Specialist
to strengthen our supplier network, cost competitiveness, and procurement excellence.

Key Responsibilities

China Supplier Sourcing & Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard
    qualified suppliers and manufacturers in China
    for components, parts, machinery, and services.
  • Conduct supplier due diligence including
    factory audits, capability assessments, quality standards, and compliance checks
    .
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with
    Chinese suppliers, trading houses, and OEM/ODM partners
    .

Costing, Negotiation & Procurement

  • Lead
    price negotiations
    , MOQ discussions, payment terms, and contract agreements to achieve optimal cost and quality.
  • Prepare and analyze
    cost breakdowns (BOM, tooling, logistics, duties)
    and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Coordinate RFQs/RFPs and conduct comparative supplier evaluations.

Quality, Delivery & Risk Management

  • Work closely with QA/QC and Engineering teams to ensure
    product specifications, samples, and PPAP/FAI
    requirements are met.
  • Monitor supplier performance in terms of
    quality, lead time, responsiveness, and reliability
    .
  • Manage supply risks including delays, shortages, geopolitical issues, and compliance matters.

Logistics & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with logistics partners on
    shipping methods, Incoterms, customs documentation, and lead times
    .
  • Liaise with internal teams (Engineering, Production, Finance, QA) to ensure smooth material flow from sourcing to production.
  • Support new product development (NPI) sourcing and localization strategies.

Market Intelligence & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on
    China manufacturing trends, cost movements, materials, and new suppliers
    .
  • Recommend alternative suppliers or regions to diversify supply chain risk.
  • Maintain accurate sourcing documentation, supplier database, and reporting.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Procurement, or related field
    .
  • 1–3 years of experience
    in sourcing/procurement, with
    direct exposure to China suppliers
    .
  • Proven experience in
    manufacturing, electronics, mechanical parts, machinery, or industrial components
    is highly preferred.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong understanding of
    China manufacturing ecosystem
    , supplier types, and sourcing practices.
  • Experience in
    costing, negotiation, supplier audits, and contract management
    .
  • Familiarity with
    BOMs, technical drawings, and engineering specifications
    is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of
    Incoterms, import/export processes, and logistics coordination
    .
