Senior MS365 Migration Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced
Senior MS365 Migration Specialist
to lead and execute Microsoft 365 migration projects, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Microsoft cloud environments and a proven track record in planning and implementing end-to-end migration strategies for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of
    MS365 migration projects
    from on-premises or legacy systems (e.g., Exchange, SharePoint, File Servers) to Microsoft 365 cloud platforms.
  • Conduct
    pre-migration assessments
    , risk analysis, and readiness evaluations.
  • Manage and optimize
    Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint Online
    configurations.
  • Develop and maintain migration scripts and automation using
    PowerShell
    and other tools.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues during and after migration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT infrastructure, security, and network operations.
  • Ensure
    data integrity, compliance, and security
    during all migration phases.
  • Provide
    technical documentation, knowledge transfer, and user training
    post-migration.
  • Stay current with Microsoft 365 updates, tools, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum
    5–8 years
    of hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 migration and administration.
  • Strong expertise in
    Exchange Online, Azure AD, SharePoint Online, Teams
    , and
    OneDrive for Business
    .
  • Proven experience with
    migration tools
    such as Quest, BitTitan, SkyKick, or similar.
  • Proficiency in
    PowerShell scripting
    and automation.
  • Good understanding of
    Microsoft security and compliance frameworks
    .
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders.
  • Microsoft certifications such as
    MS-100, MS-101, or AZ-104
    are highly preferred.
