1.     Financial Accounting & Reporting

a.     Prepare, verify, and maintain general ledger entries and supporting schedules.

b.     Ensure monthly and year-end closings are completed on time.

c.      Reconcile intercompany, bank, and supplier accounts.

d.     Assist in preparing management reports, financial analysis, and audit schedules.

2.     Accounts Payable (AP) & Receivable (AR)

a.     Process supplier invoices and staff claim with proper coding and documentation.

b.     Ensure timely payments and proper recording of accruals.

c.      Issue customer invoices, monitor collections, and follow up on overdue accounts.

3.     Compliance & Controls

a.     Ensure transactions are in compliance with MPERS, company policies, and statutory requirements.

b.     Maintain systematic filing and documentation for audit and record purposes.

a.     Support external and internal audits as required.

4.     Cash & Bank Management

a.     Handle daily cash flow tracking and bank reconciliations.

b.     Prepare payment vouchers and ensure sufficient funds for operations.

5.     Continuous Improvement

a.     Identify process gaps and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.

b.     Support system enhancement or automation initiatives within the Finance team.

6.     Other Duties

a.     Perform other accounting or administrative tasks assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

1.     Education:

a.     LCCI/Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.

2.     Experience:

a.      Minimum 2 – 4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably handling a full set of accounts.

b.      Experience in property development, construction or retail industries will be an added advantage.

3.     Technical Skills:

a.      Proficient in accounting systems.

b.      Skilled in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reconciliations.

c.      Knowledge with SST, tax filing, and basic regulatory compliance.
