About our Client:

Our client is a high-tech engineering consultancy firm founded in 2015. Equipped with the frontier computer aided design, drafting and analysis facilities, they offer comprehensive consulting services on architectural, E&M, fire engineering, building performance, on-site testing and other related disciplines. They operate as a multi-disciplinary amalgamation of resources and the professional expertise as a whole and are capable of working on any project, regardless of its location. With their service experience since 2015, they have established the reputation for quality, innovation and professionalism in all aspects of its work.

Job Scope:

• Lead and execute full-cycle design for mechanical, air-conditioning, and fire protection systems across various projects, with a primary focus on Hong Kong-based developments.
• Drive strategic planning and design of MEP systems to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and cost efficiency.
• Review and confirm schematic designs, ensuring smooth coordination from design development to construction review stages.
• Prepare detailed design documentation, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate closely with consultants, clients, contractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities to ensure project alignment and timely delivery.
• Participate in feasibility studies, tender documentation, design calculations, and cost estimation exercises.
• Optimize designs to enhance performance, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality standards.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in MEP system design, particularly in mechanical, HVAC, or fire services.

• Strong technical knowledge in:

• Heat load calculations & HVAC design

• Split unit, VRV/VRF, chiller, and chilled water systems

• Primary Air Unit (PAU) and Air Handling Unit (AHU) configurations

• Familiarity with international MEP design, inspection, and pre-construction standards.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese; Cantonese-speaking candidates are preferred.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong communication and coordination skills.
