About the role

We are seeking a talented Junior Production Engineer to join our dynamic team at QLUX GROUP SDN. BHD. in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. As a Junior Production Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our manufacturing processes. This full-time position will provide you with valuable experience in the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of production activities to meet targets and deadlines
  2. Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement corrective actions
  4. Participate in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures and quality control measures
  5. Collect and analyse production data to identify trends and provide recommendations for process optimisation
  6. Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
  7. Contribute to the training and development of production personnel

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Production Management, or a related field
  2. 1-2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics industry
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  4. Proficient in the use of production management software and tools
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  6. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  7. Adaptable and willing to learn new skills to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
