Safety & Health Officer

· Develop, implement, and review company safety and health policies.

· Ensure compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 2022 and other relevant regulations.

· Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential hazards.

· Implement appropriate control measures to mitigate identified risks.

· Perform routine inspections and audits of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

· Report findings and follow up on corrective actions.

· Investigate workplace accidents, incidents and near misses to determine causes.

· Prepare reports and recommend preventive measures.

· Organize and conduct safety and health training sessions for employees.

· Educate employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and use of personal protective equipment (PPPE).

· Develop and maintain emergency response plans.

· Coordinate and conduct emergency drills and simulations.

· Ensure the company complies with all relevant safety and health regulations and standards.

· Liaise with regulatory bodies such as the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH).

· Maintain accurate records of safety and health activities, incidents, and compliance reports.

· Prepare and submit necessary documentations to authorities as required.

· Implement health promotion programs to improve employee well-being.

· Monitor workplace conditions that may affect employee health, such as air quality and ergonomic factors.

· Provide guidance and advice to management and employees on safety and health matters.

· Acts as a point of contact for safety and health- related queries and concerns.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4, RM7,000.00 per month
