About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR & Admin Executive to join our dynamic team at RELX International. This full-time role will be based in Malaysia .It is central to our HR and Administrative functions, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded HR generalist with strong administrative skills, capable of supporting both people and office management needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, CV screening, interview scheduling, conducting background checks, and issuing employment offers.
  • Attendance & Payroll Support: Maintain accurate employee attendance records (leaves, overtime, etc.) and assist in the preparation for monthly payroll processing.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Administer all employee movement processes (onboarding, confirmation, transfer, contract renewal, and separation) in full compliance with company policies and Malaysian labour laws (e.g., Employment Act 1955).
  • Training & Development: Coordinate and organize new hire orientation and basic employee skills training sessions.
  • Employee Relations: Maintain employee records, address basic employee inquiries, and help foster a positive work environment.

Administration :

  • Office Management: Oversee daily office operations, including procurement of office supplies, facility maintenance, and coordination with landlords and vendors.
  • Event & Logistics Support: Assist in planning and executing company events, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Document Management: Prepare and manage various administrative documents and correspondence, ensuring proper filing and organization.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of solid experience in a combined HR and Administration role.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Essential: Working knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end recruitment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Personal Attributes:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and adept at multitasking.
  • A self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluent in Malay, Chinese, and English (both written and spoken).
