A leading player in high-precision automation is investing in its next stage of growth. With expanding projects across the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing sectors, the business is building a strong R&D foundation to support new-generation Pick & Place equipment.

Your new role

As the Head of R&D, you will be responsible for leading product development across the company's Pick & Place line. You will drive new design concepts, lead multidisciplinary teams, and ensure that new products meet customer, quality and performance expectations. This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of the innovation roadmap combining technical expertise, strategic thinking and team leadership.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic or related Engineering disciplines.
  • At least 10 years' experience in precision automation, semiconductor equipment or related industries.
  • Proven expertise in mechanical design and motion systems — ideally with Pick & Place or high-speed assembly machinery.
  • Demonstrated experience leading R&D or new product development teams.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across design, production, and quality teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
