Role Description

This is a hybrid internship role based in Kuala Lumpur with an opportunity for some work-from-home flexibility. As a Software Engineer Intern, you will assist in designing, developing, and testing software solutions. Responsibilities include contributing to back-end development, writing programmable code, and addressing technical challenges. You'll also collaborate with team members to ensure solutions align with user requirements and maintain a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.

3 to 6 months

, depending on availability, with preference given to those who can commit to the full
6-month

period. The working arrangement is
hybrid.

What You'll Do

1. Team Collaboration: Work alongside developers, designers, and product stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and execution of tasks.
2. End-to-End Development: Assist in both frontend and backend development tasks, contributing to features from initial planning to deployment.
3. Backend Development: Support the development of APIs and backend logic using modern frameworks and best practices.
4. Frontend Development: Help build and maintain responsive, interactive user interfaces using component-based frontend frameworks.
5. Quality Assurance (QA) Testing: Help QA team to execute test cases via unit testing methods and programming.
6. Code Quality & Performance: Contribute to optimizing code for performance, readability, and maintainability.
7. Problem Solving & Initiative: Bring fresh ideas and solutions to the table by identifying areas for improvement and suggesting enhancements.
8. Agile Workflow: Participate in Agile processes such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and reviews to stay aligned with the team and learn effective development practices.
9. Be a team player: Contribute positively to our collaborative and supportive team environment, fostering open communication and mutual respect.

Requirements

1. Education:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Final-year students who can commit to a 6-month internship are preferred.
2. Technical Foundations:

Basic knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript. Familiarity with modern frameworks like or Laravel is a plus.
3. Positive Attitude:
