About the Role

Join our team as an ESH Officer and play a key role in supporting workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance. This position is ideal for fresh graduates or those with up to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing ESH policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Support compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Act, Factories and Machinery Act, and Environmental Quality Act.
  • Maintain and update ESH documentation, records, and reports to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct workplace safety inspections and identify unsafe acts or conditions.
  • Organize ESH training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Coordinate Emergency Response Team (ERT) activities, including fire drills, spill response, and first aid readiness.
  • Support ESH Committee meetings and follow up on action items.
  • Assist in investigating and reporting incidents, accidents, near-misses, and environmental events.
  • Compile ESH-related data for analysis and reporting.
  • Maintain environmental monitoring programs (waste management, emissions, water discharge).
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure adherence to ESH standards.
  • Perform other ESH-related duties as assigned by the ESH Manager or superior.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Professional Certificate in Environmental/Health/Safety Science or equivalent.
  • Preferably 0–2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment (fresh graduates encouraged to apply).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Positive attitude, good listening skills, and a people-friendly personality.
  • Willing to work at Seksyen 27, Shah Alam, Selangor.
