Responsibilities: -

  • Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures for the company to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular environmental audits and assessments to identify potential environmental hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions to prevent pollution, contamination, or other environmental damage.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and engineering, to develop plans and strategies to minimize the environmental impact of the company's activities.
  • Train employees, contractors, and other stakeholders on environmental policies and procedures, including waste management, energy conservation, and other sustainable practices.
  • Investigate environmental incidents and accidents to determine the root cause and recommend corrective actions to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
  • Maintain accurate records of environmental-related incidents, audits, assessments, training, and other activities, and prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in environmental regulations and standards, and provide guidance to management and other stakeholders on compliance issues.
  • Lead or participate in environmental-related committees, task forces, or other initiatives to promote a culture of environmental responsibility within the company
  • Accountable for the quality, safety, health and environmental management and performance at the workplace and project site.
  • Undertake special assignment, ad hoc functions and related duties as assigned.

Requirements: -

  • Diploma/ Degree in ESH or equivalent;
  • At least 3 years working experience as document controller in the construction industry;
  • High level of integrity drives and result oriented;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Able to work independently under minimum supervision;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to interact and communicate well with peers and senior management.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM3, RM4,500.00 per month
