QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer at HKSM, you will play a critical role in maintaining product quality, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring full compliance with QMS (ISO 9001) and EMS (ISO standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor, control, and improve quality across production operations.

• Supervise daily QA activities to ensure compliance with QMS/EMS requirements
• Initiate and drive quality improvement projects and problem-solving activities
• Review inspection reports, calibration records, and testing documentation
• Promote risk-based thinking and a process approach in quality initiatives
• Ensure safety practices and PPE usage across QA and production teams
• Report non-conformances, unsafe acts, or abnormalities to superiors
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information (P&C)
• Enforce workplace housekeeping, 5S, and company policies

• Plan and conduct quality-related training and on-the-job coaching
• Support production teams in SOP compliance and process control
• Collect and analyze QA, safety, and environmental data for improvement
• Ensure work instructions and inspection criteria are properly displayed
• Participate in stock count and quality audits
• Verify effectiveness of corrective actions and report to management
• Organize and maintain QA documentation and records
• Collaborate with other departments to solve quality issues
• Assist in administrative and compliance duties related to QMS

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• 2–3 years of experience in QA within a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 is a must
• Familiar with LEAN manufacturing, 5S, and problem-solving tools (e.g. 6 Sigma, 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone)
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
• Independent, responsible, and team-oriented
