What you'll be doing?
  • Full set accounting: Take charge of maintaining comprehensive financial records and reports for the organization.
  • Invoice processing: Efficiently process and verify accounts payable invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors.
  • Financial reporting: Prepare monthly management reports, conduct variance analysis, and create cash flow forecasts to support informed decision-making.
  • Reconciliations: Perform supplier statement reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Stakeholder communication: Respond to payment inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal departments, fostering positive relationships.
  • Month-end and year-end closing: Participate in closing processes, ensuring accurate recording of payables and supporting financial reporting.
  • Audit support: Assist in yearly audits by collaborating with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and transparency.
Who are they looking for?
  • Accounting qualification: Possess at least an LCCI certification, Diploma, or Degree in Accounting to ensure a strong foundation in financial principles.
  • Industry experience: Have a minimum of 3 years of working experience in the logistics industry, bringing valuable sector-specific knowledge to the role.
  • Technical proficiency: Demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software to efficiently manage financial tasks.
  • Language skills: Good command of English and Mandarin is essential to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders in the industry.
  • Analytical mindset: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy are crucial for success in this role.
  • Time management: Be deadline-driven with the ability to work under pressure, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Independence: Possess a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently, taking ownership of your tasks.
